New 2018 Yamaha Side X Side?

Yamaha has posted two new teaser videos hinting that a new 2018 Yamaha Side X Side is going to be announced on September 6, 2017.

The last time Yamaha teased us with videos like this was in 2015, right before the 2016 Yamaha YXZ1000R was announced, with a video entitled “Are you ready?” It appeared in the 2015 teaser that there was a RZR getting left in the dust.

Are you ready?

The first of the new teasers is called REALize Your Adventure, and the second one is called Your Adventure Awaits – September 6, 2017. The description below says “Are you ready to REALize your next Side-by-Side off-road adventure? Join us on September 6, 2017 at YamahaOutdoors.com.” The second video shows a family of four on a camping trip in the forest, and we can see a glimpse of a Side X Side through the leaves.

We wonder if the all caps in the word REALize is a clue. Perhaps somehow the teaser video is connected to the Yamaha campaign currently running until November 15th, which is called the Yamaha Real World Adventure Sweepstakes.

The prize for the sweepstakes claims that “one lucky winner will make memories that will last a lifetime in the woods, on the water, in the dunes or out on the trail.”

I guess we will have to wait until September 6, 2017 for the mystery to be revealed. Watch the two new teasers and see what you think is coming:
