In May, we showed you the all-electric Nikola Zero UTV that was unveiled at the Sand Sports Super Show in California. And now Nikola recently announced that it has finalized the specifications and design for the four-seater UTV.

Dealerships can begin reserving production units starting in January 2018. The all-electric 400-volt plug-in off-road (and potentially street ready) UTV is expected to come in a choice of two performance options: 415 HP and 555 HP. Starting with a suggested MSRP of $35,000, Nikola says it will also have three battery options: 75kWh, 100kWh and 125kWh. The 125kWh battery package has a claimed 200 miles of range in 4×4 off-road mode. Optional Anti-Lock Braking Systems, stability control, anti-roll-over, traction control and torque vectoring are all expected to come as standard equipment.

Business Insider posted a video filmed at Camp Pendleton in California, and it was suggested that special ops could utilize the Nikola Zero for combat applications, taking advantage of the fact that it is so quiet. Here’s the video:
