Anderson Used the K&N 63-1136 Air Intake

K&N-sponsored racer RJ Anderson put his Polaris on the top step of the podium in the UTV World Championship (UTVWC) in Laughlin, Nevada, and he was using the brand-new K&N 63-1136 Air Intake System.

The UTV World Championship short course race was contested on the same track as the long race, but was limited to three laps. From the start, the dust was a factor in the race, especially considering Anderson’s starting position.

Proving that K&N engine protection is top-notch, RJ (#37) ate some dust early in the race.

Because of the nature and layout of the Laughlin course, the racers had to contend with traffic all race long. This made for some exciting passing and a great viewing experience for race fans.

“I started from row three and the dust was gnarly,” Anderson said. “I’ve wanted one of these UTV World Championships for a while,” said Anderson. “It’s a pinnacle trophy for our sport. I won a brand-new RZR, which is a pretty big payday… even bigger than the truck stuff I do. We had a flawless day.”

Anderson (#37) avoided the mayhem in what he called a “flawless day.”

The win is a significant benchmark for one of K&N’s newest UTV performance products, the 63-1136 intake, which was installed in Anderson’s Turbo Polaris.
