Thirty years ago, Warn Industries patented the industry’s first ATV-specific winch, the WARN A1500. Three decades later, Warn has expanded its offerings to include the AXON and the VRX winches, designed for today’s modern UTVs and Side X Sides.

Both the AXON and the VRX are IP68-rated for waterproofing, have all-metal construction, a three-stage planetary gear train for smooth and reliable operation, and an easy-to-turn clutch dial based on decades of Warn 4WD hub-lock know-how. The new AXON and VRX lineup are expected to be available in three weeks (mid-August 2018). Listed below are the prices and key features for all of the current AXON and VRX products.

AXON

The AXON lineup has a motor and digital contactor combined into one unit called a Motactor. The Warn Motactor increases performance, drops installation time, and provides feedback to the user. It allows for monitoring of speed, load, and motor temperature, in addition to having a built-in load limiter to prevent damage from overloading the winch. Available in 3,500, 4,500, and 5,500 pulling capacities, with a choice of steel or Spydura synthetic rope.
