A new MX/UTV track is potentially coming to Ione near Sacramento, California.. The Ione Sands MX UTV Track is still in the concept stages: They are testing the feasibility of having a world-class training, testing and filming facility.

The facility has thousands of acres to use that have been reclaimed from mining operations. The goals of the track are to be a world-class training, testing and filming facility for professional off-roaders. It could also be utilized for races like WORCS and Ultra4. A Side X Side/UTV test day was held on July 30 on 2.1-mile race course. Here’s the video posted by UTV Guide of what’s happened so far at Ione Sands UTV Track:
