2018 Yamaha Wolverine X4
Wolverine Unleashed
After posting several teaser videos this month, Yamaha has finally told us what the mystery vehicle is: a 2018 Yamaha Wolverine X4.
Previous Wolverines were marketed as aggressive and edgy, but the new edition has a nicer demeanor, and is targeted at families and groups going fishing, camping, and watercrafting (in WaveRunners, of course!).
What’s New?
The new Wolverine X4 has a new and quieter low-vibration 847cc parallel twin engine and Yamaha Drive-by-Wire throttle system. It has four-wheel independent suspension with self-leveling rear shocks and On-Command 2WD/4WD with differential lock Diff Lock.
It seats four, but the rear seats can stow away. It comes in a SE (special edition) and they are expected on dealer floors next month (October).
